Mineral Point / Ocala, FL - Willis E. Steffen, age 93 of Ocala, FL, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Hampton Manor.

He was born November 13, 1921 to the late William and Martha (Bohn) Steffen in Bristol, WI. He attended Union Grove High School. During his lifetime he was a member of the Bethel and Lancaster Seventh-day Adventist churches in Wisconsin, and later the Deltona and Ocala Seventh-day Adventist churches in Florida.

Willis married Mayetta Skeesuck on April 27, 1947. Willis and Mayetta lived in Arpin, Wisconsin and later in Lancaster, Wisconsin. In 1974 they moved to Mineral Point where they worked at the Mineral Point Care Center. Mayetta preceded him in death on October 20, 1985. He wed Virginia Holtz in 1987, who preceded him in death in 2000.

Willis retired to Florida in 1990 where he lived for the reminder of his life.

Willis is survived by his son, Thomas (Elaine) of Cashmere, WA; his daughter, Fairy (Howard Eskildsen) of Ocala, FL; his son, Samuel (Dawn) of North Prairie, WI; his 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by sisters; Frances Muhlenbeck, Esther Sherman, Gladys Jensen, Mildred Carp, and Shirley Baun, and brothers; Harold Steffen, Donald Steffen, and Harvey Steffen who died in childhood.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at the GORGEN FUNERAL HOME in Mineral Point. Burial will be held in Graceland Cemetery.
