Ridgeway – Wayne E. Paull, age 88, of Ridgeway, died on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Sienna Crest in Dodgeville.

He was born on May 31, 1928 in Dodgeville, a son of the late Earl and Annie (Fitzsimmons) Paull. He graduated from Ridgeway High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. On October 29, 1955, he married Elvira Clark at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Wonewoc. She preceded him in death on November 20, 2010. They later moved to Ridgeway to the Paull family farm, where they raised their son, Terry.

Wayne worked for Ridgeway Township, delivered the Shopping News and worked with the Commission on Aging. He loved traveling, playing cards, crosswords puzzles and visiting with family and friends.

Wayne is survived by his son, Terry (Susie) Paull; his granddaughter, Kimberly (Kevin) Borcherding, all of Ridgeway; his sisters-in-law, Leona Clark and Alice Roloff; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, his sisters, Genane Wagner and Barb Erickson, his brothers-in-law, Bill Wagner, Marvin Erickson, Elvorie Clark, Eldon Clark and Martin Cook, his sister-in-law, Eldora Cook.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 25, 2016 at GRACE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH in Ridgeway. Burial will be held in Eastside Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites accorded by the Ridgeway American Legion. Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville and from 10:00 a.m. until time of services on Monday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the family for a charitable donation.
