Mineral Point – Thomas R. Kieffer, age 72, of Mineral Point, died on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Mineral Point Health Services.

Tom has gone to be with parents Bernard and Josephine to continue the love of his life farming. Tom also served several years in the U.S. Army which were greatly rewarding. At the age of 72, born on Valentine's Day 1950, Tom was a quiet man who appreciated the simple things in life. For almost 50 years, Tom and his class mate Michael attended Badger Football games and they especially enjoyed the fifth quarter.

Tom was a graduate of Mineral Point High School, Class of 1968 and attended Southwest Technical College, where he received an Associate Degree in Mechanics. He enjoyed riding his scooter and watching the planes landing at the Madison airport.

Tom is survived by his brother Jerry (Sue) Kieffer of DeForest; his niece Erica (Aaron) Raynoha of Monona; and special lifelong friend Michael of Mineral Point.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at St. Mary's Cemetery in Mineral Point with Military Honors accorded by the Mineral Point American Legion.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the members of the Mineral Point Health Services and St. Croix Hospice Staff for the loving and kind care given to Tom.
