Mineral Point - Taylor Alan Pickett, age 18, of Mineral Point passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2015.
He was born in Dodgeville on October 21, 1996 the son of Troy and Susan (Vaverek) Pickett. He attended Mineral Point High School. He loved the outdoors; especially fishing, hunting, and camping. He enjoyed spending time with his dogs Brownie and Diesel.
Taylor is survived by his parents, Troy Pickett of Mineral Point and Susan Pickett of Dodgeville; his brother, Sean Pickett of Dodgeville; his grandfather, Richard Vaverek of Mineral Point; many relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his Nana, Virginia Vaverek in 2010.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH in Mineral Point, with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. Pastor Cal Schaver will officiate. Inurnment will be in Graceland Cemetery at a later date.
