Steven J. Stapleton's Obituary
Dodgeville – Steven J. Stapleton, age 45, of Dodgeville, died on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at his home.
He was born on July 22, 1971 in Dodgeville, a son of the late Leo and Alyce (Butteris) Stapleton. He attended Dodgeville Schools. Steven loved operating large construction equipment. He was able to use his skills while working at G.A Watson, Hammersley Stone, Gullickson trucking, and most recently his own business S & S Snow plowing and lawn service.
He had an infectious laugh that could be picked out in any crowd.
Steven is survived by his aunts, Annibelle Aide and Audrey Legler; his siblings, Gene (Tera) Blackford, Lloyd Blackford and Brenda Blackford; many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and step-father, Lloyd Blackford, Sr.
There will be a public Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials to the family would be appreciated.
