Dodgeville - Sharon Lynn (Smith) Jordan of Dodgeville, WI passed away on Sunday April 12, 2020 unexpectedly.

Sharon was born on October 21, 1954 in Lancaster Pennsylvania to Walter and Caroline Smith. She was diagnosed with cancer of the parotid gland in May 1971. She was a strong fighter and graduated high school in June 1972. Sharon had a lifelong battle from complications of the surgeries and the treatment she had to fight the cancer.

Sharon worked for the University of Wisconsin Medical Foundation for 20 years and in her free time enjoyed reading, crocheting, embroidering, spending time with her family, and (in her earlier adult years) working with the Girl Scouts of America. She met her husband, Charles (Chuck) E. Jordan in 1969 and they got married on June 9, 1972. They welcomed their first child on July 26, 1972, Rebecca (Becky) Jordan. They welcomed their second child on March 13, 1974, Charles W. Jordan.

Sharon is preceded in death by her father Walter M. L. Smith, brother Walter J. Smith, sister Carol Conrad, sister-in-law Sue Smith, father and mother-in-law Charles E. and Dorothy Jordan, brother-in-law James W. Jordan.

She is survived by her husband Charles (Chuck) E. Jordan; her mother Caroline Smith; her daughter Rebecca (Tom) Jones; her son Charles (Curt Whiting) Jordan; her grandchildren Dorothea (Brandon Turek) Jordan, Elizabeth Jones, Keigan Jordan; her great-granddaughter Evelyn Turek; her sisters Donna (Bob) Frick, Shirley Booth and Cheryl (Carson) Laughman; her brother Charles L. Smith; her sisters-in-law Mary Jordan, Dee (Tom) Ruddell, Rebecca (Doug) Montgomery; her brother-in-law Gregory (Heidi) Jordan; many nieces and nephews.

Sharon was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
