Dodgeville / Ithaca – Shane L. Larsen, age 42, of Dodgeville, formerly of Ithaca, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2015 at Upland Hills Health after a brief battle with cancer.

He was born on October 31, 1972 in Woodstock, IL, a son of Dennis and Marilyn (Mahan) Larsen. He graduated from Ithaca High School in 1992.

Shane is survived by his wife, Beth Gorgen Larsen; his children, Oakley Larsen and Carter Larsen; his step children, Kiagh and Kendall Van Etten; his mother, Marilyn (Jim) Goodyear; his father, Dennis Larsen, Sr.; his siblings, Dennis (Christy) Larsen, Tim (friend, Carmen) Larsen and Tammy Larsen; his very special foster mother, Annette Louis; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at WILLOW VALLEY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH in Ithaca. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until time of service on Thursday at the church.
