Dodgeville – Ruth A. Schneidewind, age 55, of Dodgeville, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 21, 2019 at Upland Hills Health in Dodgeville.

She was born on July 30, 1964 in South San Gabriel, CA, a daughter of Robert and Rosalie (Davies) Hansen (Zweifel). She graduated from Stoughton High School in 1983. In 1985, she married Frank A. Swisher and they parted in 1999. She was able to work and live in a variety of jobs and places. Ruth is deeply loved by her family & friends; she touched the life of everyone she met. In June of 2006, she married Wayne A. Schneidewind.

Ruth is survived her husband Wayne; her mother Rosalie Zweifel; her siblings Robert (Deb) Hansen, Russell (Chris) Hansen, Linda Hansen, all of Dodgeville and Rory (Peg) Hansen of San Fafal, CA; her step siblings Matthew (Tina) Hansen, Bryan Miller, Russell Miller and Sara Miller; her step mother Marge Miller-Hansen; several nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Robert Hansen, her step father Tom Zweifel and her brother Richard Hansen.

A Public Visitation will be held from 3:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2019 at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville. A Celebration of Life will be held at COUNTRY VIEW MOBILE HOME PARK on Saturday, July 4, 2020.
