Mineral Point - Richard "Dick" Palzkill, age 88 of Mineral Point passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 2, 2021.

He was born at home on the Palzkill farm on September 12, 1932. He farmed his whole life and enjoyed a good card game. Dick married Ellen Lacy on May 21, 1960 at St. Raphael's in Madison. Dick and Ellen raised six children on the farm and this month would have celebrated 61 years together.

Dick is survived by his wife Ellen, six children John (Jennifer) Palzkill of Mineral Point, Patrick (Danielle) Palzkill of Norwell MA, Gary (Sheila) Palzkill of Waukesha, Colleen (Gregg) Krattiger of Mc Farland, Carolyn (Ken) Anderson of Ithaca, Janice (Bruce) Quinton of Pepin; fifteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Gilbert and Lyola (May) Palzkill, sister Elizabeth "Betty" Palzkill and two infant siblings Matthew and Mary Alice.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 7, 2021 at Ss. MARY & PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH in Mineral Point. Father Michael Tarigopula will officiate. Friends and family may greet the family at the church on Thursday from 5:00 - 7:00 pm and on Friday from 10:00-10:45 am prior to service.

The family requests the wearing of masks and social distancing at the church.
