Ridgeway – Richard "Rick" Murphy, age 63, of Ridgeway, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Upland Hills Health in Dodgeville.
He was born on September 26, 1960 in Dodgeville, a son of Donald and Delores (Jacobson) Murphy. From a young age, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. As an adult, he loved spending time in his garden, hunting morel mushrooms and cooking.
Rick is survived by his children Nicole Marx, Brittany Murphy, Kelsey Murphy and McKenzie Foss; 14 grandchildren; his father Donald Murphy of Ridgeway; his siblings Tari (Bob) Greenwood, Kathie Murphy and Jeanne Cairns.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Delores Murphy.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the RIDGEWAY AMERICAN LEGION HALL, 309 West Farwell Street, Ridgeway, WI on Saturday, June 8, 2024 starting at 11:00 a.m. Food and drink will be provided.
