Richard Todd Douglas, age 63, of Madison died on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at St. Mary's Hospital.
He was born in Platteville on December 17, 1958 the son of Kenneth and Charlotte (Schaaf) Douglas. He was a fanatic sports fan to the Green Bay Packers, WI Badgers and the Milwaukee Brewers. Richard will be remembered for his gentle soul and words of kindness that touched everyone daily.
Richard is survived by his mother Charlotte of Loves Park, IL and his sister Loretta of Rockford, IL. He is preceded in death by his father Kenneth, a brother Peter, sister Christine and his grandparents.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Ss. Mary & Paul Catholic Church in Mineral Point. Fr. Michael Tarigopula will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the church.
