Arena – Ralph R. Reeson, Jr., age 66, died Thursday, August 18, 2022 in Arena, Wisconsin where he was currently residing. Ralph was born January 25, 1956, in Dodgeville, Wisconsin, the son of Ralph and Helen (Hach) Reeson.
Ralph was a master concrete finisher for most of his adult life. He grew up on a farm outside of Ridgeway and was an organic farmer on the Reeson Family Farm, near Loganville. Ralph was the proud father to Ken, Autumn, and KI. He was an avid outdoorsman, morel hunter, and ice fisherman (waiting for that bite) among family and friends. From a young age, Ralph loved the sports of wrestling and softball which continued into his adult life. Ralph entered the Marines in 1975, served on active duty, and was Honorably Discharged in 1981.
He is survived by his soulmate Sue Fahrni, his children, KI Skogen Johnson of Beloit and Autumn (Chad) Cole of Cottage Grove MN; his beloved granddaughter Harper Rose. He is also survived by his siblings Rose (Jackson) Dobie, Helen (Jack) Godfrey, Randy, Christine (Drew) Cardin, Robert, Rock, Regina, Jennifer (John) Meeker, Ron (Fawn), Rex (Kim), Reggie (Paula) Reeson and many nieces and nephews. He was married to Patricia Skogen (1994-2014).
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Ken, brothers Russell and Robin, and nephew, Tyler Reeson.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 2, 2022 at ST. BRIDGET'S CATHOLIC CHURCH in Ridgeway. Military Graveside Rites will be held in St. Bridget's Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until time of services at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 2, 2022 at ST. BRIDGET'S CATHOLIC CHURCH in Ridgeway. There will be a light dinner following at the church basement.
