Dodgeville – Norbert W. Meuer Jr., age 79 of Dodgeville, WI passed away Saturday October 7, 2017.
He was born September 21, 1938, a son of Norbert and Dora (Francis) Meuer. He graduated from Dodgeville High School in 1956.
Norb is survived by his sons Ronald (Penny) Meuer of Delavan, WI, Brian (Jonna) Meuer of Alamosa, CO and Joel (Jeni) Meuer of Dodgeville, WI; his grandchildren Justin (Brooke), Seth and Odessa; his great grandchildren Jaxson and Austin; his brothers and sisters, Bill (Louis) Meuer Lake Geneva, WI, Don (Carol) Meuer of Dodgeville, WI, JoAnn Hugill of Cobb, WI, June (Jim) Paynter of New Glarus, WI and Vicki (Merl) Nadler of Dodgeville, WI; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife JoAnn.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at ST. JOSEPH'S CATHOLIC CHURCH in Dodgeville. Monsignor Daniel Ganshert will officiate. Burial will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville.
