Dodgeville / Kenner, LA - Nellie Kiley De Long passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the age of 99.

She was a native of Dodgeville, WI and a resident of Kenner for the last 52 years. She received her nursing degree from St. Francis School of Nursing, served as an Army nurse during W.W. II and subsequently as a civilian nurse until her retirement in 1985.

Beloved wife of the late Russell L. De Long. Loving mother of Russell J. De Long (wife, Vicki). Grandmother of Eva and Jereme Crosby. Great-grandmother of Kenan Imsirovic. Daughter of the late Madella Limmex and Clarence Kiley. Sister of the late John, Bill, Phil and Jim Kiley, Pat Olsen, Kate Denure and Mary Vukits. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Lucille and Sheila Burris, Patricia and Rev. Phil Kiley, Colleen Glendika, and Eleanore and Kathy Denure.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2014 at ST. JOSEPH'S CATHOLIC CHURCH in Dodgeville. Fr. Patrick Wendler will officiate. Inurnment will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:30 p.m. until time of Mass on Friday at the church.
