Platteville - Milo W. Fine, age 90, passed away peacefully Friday 8, 2013 at Our House in Platteville, Wisconsin.
Milo was born in Linden, WI on March 27, 1922, to Frank and Lida (Roberts) Fine. He married Alberta Buch on August 17, 1943 in Milwaukee, WI. They moved to the Dodgeville/Mineral Point area where they farmed until the early 1970's. Milo was very proud of his dairy cows. After farming he worked at Nelson Muffler in Mineral Point until retirement. He enjoyed playing cards, especially euchre with family and friendsand also the board game Aggravation. He loved sharing stories of the "old days". He was also known for his fun sense of humor and pranks.
Milo is survived by his four children; Jayne (Jerry) Gates, Sherrill, IA; John (Sarah) Epworth, IA; Terry(Ruth) Cuba City, WI and Marijean (Steve) Yager, Dodgeville, WI., 16 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother; Donald (Josephine), Madison, and four sisters; Lenore
Gordon, Dodgeville, Jeanette Reisen, Dubuque, IA, Margie (Lester) Amenda, Janesville and Joyce Nelson, Madison.
He was preceded in death by his wife Alberta, his parents, One great granddaughter, one great grandson; five brothers: Clarence, Chester, Clinton, Worthy, and Delmore; and four sisters; Lucille, Leila, Arnetta, and Gladys.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at GORGEN FUNERAL HOME in Mineral Point with luncheon following at the Linden United Methodist Church. Pastor Leanne Rose will officiate. Burial will be in the Linden Cemetery. Friends and family may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday evening February 11, 2013 and 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the GORGEN FUNERAL HOME.
