Mineral Point / Wauzeka – Michael F. Leuthold, age 61, of Wauzeka, formerly of Mineral Point, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Orchard Manor in Lancaster.

He was born on May 20, 1955 in Iowa County. Michael was the son of late Alfred and Nelda Leuthold and was raised on the family farm located just outside of Waldwick WI. Mike graduated from Mineral Point High School in 1975. He went on to UW-Madison and graduated with a degree in Business. He worked for American Family Insurance for many years, and then Rural Insurance and lastly Wal-Mart (of Prairie du Chien). He retired from Wal-Mart in 2015. He lived in Wauzeka for the last 10 years and enjoyed the gun shows held there.

He is survived by his sibling Andy (Chris Gilberston), Lisa and twins Steven and Susan (David) Gollon; his nieces and nephews (Susan's children) Cody (Cortney), Cassara, Candice, and Chance; a great niece Callie.

Per Michael's request, no services will held and private family burial will take place in County Line Cemetery.
