Dodgeville - Michael John Jewell, age 60, of Dodgeville, passed away unexpectedly on November 20, 2016 at his home.

Mike was born in Dodgeville on December 21, 1955, son of the late John (Jack) C. and Donna J. Jewell. He had a passion for golf which he shared with his parents and was a member of the Dodge-Point Country Club. He also shared his father's enjoyment of hunting and fishing.

Mike is survived by his many cousins: Lisa Dixon (Hannon) of Dousman, Wisconsin; Curtis Hannon of Aurora, Colorado; Diane Fultz (Hannon) of Thornton, Colorado; David Jewell of Centennial, Colorado; Steven Jewell of Parker, Colorado; Christine Jewell of Rosemount, Minnesota; and Daphne Jewell of Plainville, Michigan. He is also survived by his uncle, Richard Hannon, of Racine, Wisconsin.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna in 2013, his father, Jack in 2015, his brother, James C. Jewell in 1994, his uncle and his aunt James and Jo Jewell, and is aunt, Margaret Hannon.

Private burial services will be held with the immediate family at East Side Cemetery at a later date.
