Dodgeville - Michael Anthony Heaton, age 67, of Dodgeville, found peace and passed away on Monday, April 20, 2015.

He was born in Milwaukee on July 8, 1947 the son of Mick and Joyce (Dyar) Heaton. He graduated from Mineral Point High School in 1966. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1966 to 1973 with two tours of duty in Vietnam.

Michael is survived by his wife Sherry; his brother Steve (Colleen) Heaton; his sister Lisa (Dave Ramey) Heaton; his sons Todd, Mick, and JT Heaton; his daughter Meghan Heaton; his stepdaughter Ashley Larsen; two granddaughters Logen and Jayden; his nieces, Trina (Terry) Slack, Tricia (Mike) McVay and Samantha Heaton; his nephew, Chris (Meg) Heaton; other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Rick Heaton.

Memorial Services will be held Monday, May 4, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the NEW LIFE UNITED PENTECOSTAL CHURCH in Dodgeville. Pastor Simon Chappell will officiate. Burial of cremated remains will be in St. Paul's Cemetery. A visitation will be from 12:00 until time of service at the church.

Mike was a proud Marine veteran who was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. His Christian faith was an important part of his life. Mike will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all whose life he touched.
