Dodgeville – Mazie M. Hendrickson, age 96, of Dodgeville, died on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Upland Hills Health in Dodgeville.

She was born on December 3, 1927 in Lamont Township, Lafayette County, the daughter of Martin L. Vinger and Esther Putnam Vinger. She graduated from Argyle High School, class of 1945 and Madison Business College. She was employed as a secretary in the banking and insurance industry.
On August 21, 1951, she married Robert Hendrickson at Blanchardville Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on July 20, 1989. She moved to Dodgeville after selling her home in 1991.

Mazie is survived by her daughter Sara (Michael) Gasapo, of Syracuse, NY; her son Thomas (Marietta) Hendrickson, of Chula Vista, CA; her grandsons Jim (Helen) Gasapo, Steven (Hannah) Gasapo, Daniel (Kana) Gasapo, Kirk and Robert Hendrickson; her sister-in-law Linda Vinger; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her infant son in 1954, her sister Marsha (John) Minderman, her brothers Henry (Neva), Richard (Judith), her nephew Clark Minderman and her step sisters Geneva Hendrickson and June Cline.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Inurnment will be held in Graceland Cemetery in Blanchardville.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Upland Hills Health Foundation.
