Mineral Point - Mary Jane Weiskircher (Rielly), age 86, of Argyle, passed away Monday, March 11, 2019, in Mineral Point surrounded by her loving family.
Mary Jane Nardi was born on February 21, 1933 in Milwaukee, WI as the daughter of Margret Nardi. She attended Mineral Point High School where she graduated with her cherished class of 1951. Mary Jane had two loves in her life, her first husband William P. Rielly who she married on July 11, 1953 and her second husband Lawrence J. Weiskircher who she married on May 2, 1987.
Mary worked hard her entire life at different jobs in Mineral Point, Monroe, and Indiana. Mary Jane was a member of the Red Hatters and Legion Auxiliary which she enjoyed. Mary's favorite pastimes were socializing, gardening, and taking care of her pets. Mary Jane had great love for her children and grandchildren. She will always be remembered as a hard-working tough Italian woman. She always put others before herself and never missed an opportunity to help someone in need. Her children think of her as their own personal Angel here on earth. She had a very profound faith in God and had the ability to move mountains with her prayer.
Mary Jane is welcomed into heaven by her daughter Catherine Marie, her mother Margaret and her 1st husband William.
She is survived by her husband Lawrence Weiskircher; her son Frank (Bev) Rielly, her son Dan (Marla) Rielly, her daughter Peggy (Kevin) Glendenning and her son Patrick (Leane) Rielly; 16 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; her beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She is also survived by her faithful dog and companion Griz.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Ss. Mary & Paul's Catholic Church in Mineral Point. Fr. Michael Tarigopula will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the GORGEN FUNERAL HOME in MIneral Point and on Saturday from 10:00 - 10:50 a.m. at the church.
