Mineral Point / Parker, CO - Mary C. Tibbits, age 80 of Parker, CO, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 in her home. She was born on September 8, 1939 in Dodgeville, WI to the late Lloyd and Kate (Duncan) Forbes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her step father John Hendrickson, her husband of fifty-one years Kenneth Tibbits and her brother Jim Forbes.

Mary survived by her daughter Julie (Scott) Reed of Parker, CO and her son Mark (Estella) Tibbits of Toledo, OH, six grandchildren Emily, Timmery, Dennis, Destin, Savanna, and Marissa, three great grandchildren Nevaeh, Graysie, and Ryleigh, her brother Tom (Pat) Forbes and sister Alice (Don) Markgraf and a sister-in-law Karen Forbes.

Mary was a wonderful, dedicated wife, mother and homemaker who also worked in banking and retail. She and Kenneth enjoyed traveling while they lived in WI, OH and TN. In recent years Mary has lived in CO to be closer to family.

Family Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at Graceland Cemetery in Mineral Point.
