Madison / Dodgeville - Mark Spink, age 49 of Madison, formerly of Dodgeville died on Monday, February 16, 2015 at his home.
Mark was born on February 8, 1966 in Dodgeville to Rex & Myrna Spink, the fifth child in what would become a family with seven children.
Mark was employed at O&A Manufacturing in Verona at the time of his death. He was previously employed at Lands' End in Dodgeville. Mark was an avid fan of gardening, music and movies, and he will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Mark is survived by his siblings, David (Cheryl) Spink of Blanchardville, Joan (Scott) Meyer of Loves Park, IL, Sonya (Paul) Specht of Glenview, IL, Carol Spink of Flippin, AR, and Michele (Paul) Bohnert of Appleton; ten nieces and nephews; Michael (Teri) Spink, Heather (Steven) Jorenby, and Nathan Spink, Isabella Meyer, Sarah, Patrick and Mark Specht, Terrence Spink, Stephanie and Alan Bohnert; eight great nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Myrna, his father, Rex, his brother, Terry, and his grandparents.
A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville. Rev. Rom A. Pegram will officiate. Inurnment will be held in East Side Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until time of services on Sunday at the funeral home.
