Mineral Point – Marjorie "Marge" Ann Wahl, age 57, of Mineral Point, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 22, 2017.

She was born November 30, 1959 in Dodgeville the daughter of Gilbert and Anna (Ruppert) Steffes. She was united in marriage to Myles Wahl on April 25, 1981 in Mineral Point, where together they raised "the twins" Mike and Mark, which were her pride and joy. She worked at Spring Valley Cheese in Blanchardville for eight years. She then opened her home and provided daycare to many families.

After many years of child care she decided to further her education as a Medical Technician at Southwest Tech. She enjoyed her profession up until her early retirement where she then enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and traveling with her best friend and companion, Bucky. Her joys in life were her grandchildren, cooking home cooked meals for her family, and of all things horses.

Marge is survived by her "boys" Mike (Tara) Wahl of Hollandale and Mark (Trisha) Wahl of Blanchardville; her best friend and the love of her life Bucky Rux of Mineral Point; four grandchildren Lydia, Landon, Taylor, and Maizee; three brothers, David Steffes of Dodgeville, Glen (Stephanie) Steffes of Janesville, James (Jean) Steffes of Mineral Point; three nephews and one niece; and had a special place in her heart for Bucky's children and grandchildren.

She is proceeded in death by her parents and a brother in infancy, William.

A Celebration of Marjorie's Life will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the GORGEN FUNERAL HOME in Mineral Point.
