Mineral Point - Mae I. Kinsman, age 88, of Mineral Point passed away peacefully on Monday, February 29, 2016 at Sienna Crest in Mineral Point.

She was born on November 11, 1927 the daughter of Murrish and Isabel (Brown) Phillips. She graduated from Mineral Point High School in 1945. Mae worked at General Telephone Company in Mineral Point and Dodgeville as a switchboard operator for about 35 years until retiring. She married Robert Kinsman in October of 1962 at the Congregational United Church of Christ in Mineral Point.

Mae is survived by her sister Winifred Mehl of California; her sisters-in-law Marilyn Trevorrow of Mineral Point and Edith (Ronald) Hunter of Dodgeville; her brother-in-law Gene (Carol) Potterton of Mineral Point; several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert and an infant sister.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the GORGEN FUNERAL HOME in Mineral Point. Pastor Beryl Melcher will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday from 9:30 until 10:50 a.m. at the GORGEN FUNERAL HOME.
