Dodgeville – Lynette G. DeMuth, age 70, of Dodgeville, died on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Agrace Hospice Care, following a brief illness.
She was born on January 3, 1947 in Freeport, Illinois, a daughter of the late Cletus and Lyla (Newman) McKee. She graduated from Stockton High School in 1965.
She loved her family and most enjoyed watching grandkids grow up and always enjoyed their sporting events. Mom attended too many sporting events to count. She so loved to watch her grandkids compete in everything from baseball to volleyball and anything else her favorite babies did.
Lynette loved to say if she would have known that grandkids were so much fun, she would have had them first. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.
Lynette is survived by her daughters De Spurley (John Moreth) of Mineral Point and Brandy DeMuth of Dodgeville; her grandchildren Bridget (Brent) Martin of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Tony (Holly) DeMuth of Dodgeville, Abby Spurley and Tad Spurley both of Mineral Point; a great grandson Dax DeMuth; her siblings Carol Tucker of Stockton, IL and Lloyd (Maureen) McKee of Naperville, IL; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Allen McKee and Brian McKee, an infant brother and her special friends, Sherrie and Deb.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Upland Hills Hospice and Agrace Hospice Care.
