Mineral Point - Lonnie Paul Schaaf, age 69, of Mineral Point, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 after a brief battle with cancer.

Lonnie was born on January 17, 1947 the son of Donald and Bonnie (Fink) Schaaf. He married his high school sweetheart Linda Wiesen. Farming was his whole life until the time of his passing. He was an avid Brewers and Wisconsin Basketball fan.

Lonnie is survived by his six sons Todd (Angie), Tony (Jodi), Paul (Stephanie), Rick (Jen), Ryan (Tanya), and Randy (Brittany); a son-in-law Robert (Jill) White; 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; his brothers and sisters Linda (Daryl) Remington, Dennis (Elaine) Schaaf, Sheila (Walt) Dallman, Kevin (Jane) Schaaf, Loren (Laura) Schaaf and Marleen (George) Fiedler; many nieces, nephews relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Linda, a daughter Paula Schaaf White, and a daughter-in-law Diane Schaaf.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH in Mineral Point. Pastor Cal Schaver will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery in Mineral Point. A visitation will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the GORGEN FUNERAL HOME in Mineral Point.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the family.
