Lake Geneva – Lois JoAnne Bisarek Meuer, age 91, of Lake Geneva, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026 at Rosebrook Senior Living.

Lois was born July 12, 1935, daughter of Michael and Mary Bisarek. On February 7th 1959 she married William N. Meuer and celebrated 67 years together.

They loved and raised 7 children Louise Powers (Larry), Carol Schappel (Bryan), Daniel Meuer, Judy Humphrey (Jeff), Rodney Meuer (Pam), Jennifer Granger (Rob), Susan Meuer (George Howell). They enjoyed 12 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great- Great Grandchildren.

Lois enjoyed gardening both vegetables and flowers. Lois enjoyed canning and freezing of the gardens harvest. She enjoyed sewing, crafts and watching and cheering for the Brewers, Packers and Badgers. Lois took pleasure in traveling, and the occasional gambling stops, however most of all she loved being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren

Lois was preceded in death by her husband William Nicholas Meuer, her parents and siblings Dorothe Morrison, Richard Bisarek, Carol Thackray, Mary Pertzborn and Anita Olson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville. Burial will be held in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until time of services on Thursday at the funeral home.
