Dodgeville –Lois E. DeVoss, age 85, of Dodgeville, passed away on Friday, March 9, 2012 at Bloomfield Manor Nursing & Rehab Center in Dodgeville.

She was born on June 25, 1926 in Denison, Iowa, a daughter of the late Fred and Bertha (Johanson) Hansohn. She was married to Fred DeVoss, who preceded her in death in 1992.

Lois is survived by her children, David (Dorothy) DeVoss, Larry (Catherine) DeVoss, Richard DeVoss, Tom (Kathy) DeVoss, all of Dodgeville, Orville (Carol) DeVoss, of Linden, Gary (Cora) DeVoss, of San Antonio, TX, Sharon (Jerry) Morrison, of Verona; her sisters, LaVerna Hanson and Leatrice (Clyde) Bean, both of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; many, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her sister, Lorraine McQueen, her brother-in-law, Darrell Hanson, her grandson, Jeffrey DeVoss and her great granddaughter, Sarah Sandstrom.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville. Rev. Steven Kottke will officiate. Private family burial will be held in East Side Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until time of services on Sunday at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville.
