Dodgeville – Lois M. (Evans-Arneson) Collins, age 90, of Dodgeville, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2015 at Upland Hills Nursing & Rehab Center in Dodgeville.

She was born on September 22, 1924 in Dodgeville, daughter of Ed and Sheba (Vivian) Evans. She was united in marriage to Thomas M. Arneson in 1943 and then to LaVerne Collins in 1974.

Lois is survived by her children and grandchildren, Lonna Arneson and her children, Stephen Wolenec and Ellen (Bob) Slinde; Thomas (Dawn) Arneson, Jr. and their children, Tina Arneson, Kari Arneson, Amie (Brad) Martin, LeAnne Jammeh, Thomas Arneson, III, Jason Furman and Hannah Furman; Dianne (Jerry) Jacobson and their children, Michelle (Jeremy) Fredrich and Marc (Erin) Jacobson; 11 great grandchildren; her siblings, Jayne Harrison, James (Sharon) Evans, Ronald (Joyce) Evans.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers and sisters-in-law, Ralph (Joann) Evans and Donald (Betty) Evans, and her brother-in-law, Donald Harrison.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville. Pastor Joylynn Graham will officiate. Burial will be held in West Blue Mounds Lutheran Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call from 1:30 p.m. until time of services on Sunday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the food pantry of your choice.
