Scottsdale, AZ - Linda J. Laverty of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away on October 21, 2024.
Linda was born to Harry and Geneva Stackowski in Chicago on August 7, 1943. She married David Laverty on January 11, 1969 in Crystal Lake, Illinois. They had two sons, Shawn and Jeffrey.
Linda was kind, loving and generous. She was an excellent seamstress. She also worked in the banking industry for several years.
Lin is survived by son Jeff (Becky) Laverty; grandchildren Mackenzie, Nathan, Jax and Havyn; one great granddaughter Fawn. She is also survived by sister Susan Smyth; brother Arthur Stackowski; three sisters-in-law Margie Laverty, June (Butch) Hasz, Patty Ross; many nieces and nephews.
Lin is predeceased by her husband David, son Shawn, her parents, brother Harry Stackowski, Jr, in-laws Vernon and Lenore Laverty and brother and sister-in-law Larry and Sue Laverty.
Lin will be buried in St. Mary's Cemetery, Mineral Point, Wi, at a later date.
