Mineral Point - Leslie "Tom" Hughes, age 87, of Mineral Point passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at Mineral Point Health Services.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ruth and Francis Hughes and his siblings, Roland Hughes, Margaret Winter (Hughes), Marcella Davenport (Hughes), Eddie and Nancy Hughes, David Hughes, Bill Hughes, Anna Hughes (Wilbur Polkinghorn),

Tom lived in Wisconsin most of his life and in Mineral Point for over 50 years. He worked for the City of Mineral Point for most of his life. Tom had nieces and nephews to help him at times with the garage truck. Tom liked tinkering in the garage to fix things and always made sure the stray cats were fed as his thing to do. Tom was an out going person and always liked to joke around and he enjoyed spending time with family.

A Graveside Service for Tom Hughes will be held on Saturday, July 27th at 11:00 AM at Graceland Cemetery in Mineral Point. Memorials may be mailed to the Gorgen Funeral Home in Tom's name.
