Dodgeville – Leo Andrew McGinley, III, age 58, of Dodgeville, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023 at Agrace Hospice in Fitchburg surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on October 10, 1964 in Moorhead, Minnesota, son of Leo and Judy (Kramer) McGinley, Jr. He graduated from Dodgeville High School in 1983. In 1987, he married Lynn Rabuck and together they had three children; Leo, Kelsie and Brandon.

Leo was a longtime member of Dodgeville Ambulance Service and the Dodgeville Fire Department, where he served as Assistant Chief. He worked at Lands' End for 38 years, in the Maintenance Department and was a jack of all trades. He traveled for Lands' End from New York to Hawaii, always going the extra mile to complete any tasks requested of him.

Leo enjoyed racing cars, aviation, and more than anything, he loved his family, especially his little buddy Jax.

Leo is survived by his children Leo McGinley, IV, Kelsie (Zach Roberts) McGinley and Brandon (Felicia Oxnem) McGinley; his grandson Jaxon; his mother Judy McGinley; his siblings Randy (Kelli) McGinley and Lori (Ken) Seyfferth; nieces, nephews many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Leo McGinley, Jr. and his sister Becky McGinley.

Per Leo's request, a visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2023 at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville. Followed by a drink on Leo at Jeffreys House of Foolishness.

In lieu of flowers, Leo requested that memorials be made to the family for "My Little Buddy Jax's Education Fund." They can be sent to Gorgen Funeral Home, 400 E. Grace Street, Dodgeville, WI 53533.
