Dodgeville – Laura A. Schwartz, age 53, of Dodgeville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison.

She was born on September 30, 1958.

"Aunt Lorie or Mom" as she was called by all, was loved and will be missed. She will always be remembered for her love of children, helping others, her open doors for everyone and always making sure you felt loved.

Laurie is survived by her husband, Stanley; her daughter, Francesca; her grandson, Jessie, her sisters, Darlene and Cathy; her brothers, Bobby and Paulie; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Herman, Jr.

A Celebration of her Life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. A luncheon will follow at Faith Fellowship Church in Dodgeville.
