Darlington - Larry J. Jenkins, age 67 of Darlington passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Lafayette Manor in Darlington.

He was born on February 24, 1946 the son of Purl and Aletha (Brewer) Jenkins. He worked as a security guard at the House on the Rock for many years until his retirement. Larry was an avid Packer, Brewer and Badger fan. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Larry is survived by his children; Dean Jenkins of Dodgeville, Rick (Dewan) Jenkins and their children Aaron, Seth, and Raegan of Dodgeville, Gina (Ricky) McMannes and children Kari, Karen, and Riley of Highland, Brian (LeAnn) Jenkins and son Owen of Dodgeville, four brothers; Melvin (Kathy) Jenkins of Mineral Point, Ron (Denise Stahl) Jenkins of Black River Falls, Greg Jenkins of Darlington, and Gary (Laura) Jenkins of Darlington, and especially the love of his life Wanda Runde of Darlington.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Dale Leroy Benson and infant twin brother Gary.

A visitation will be held on Saturday July 6, 2013 from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the GORGEN FUNERAL HOME in Mineral Point, followed by a private family funeral service. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
