Obituary

Ridgeway - Kevin James Weier, age 45, of Ridgeway, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 with his wife, Megan by his side at Agrace Hospice in Fitchburg. Kevin was born on March 24, 1975 to his parents Jerry and Nancy Weier. Kevin graduated from Dodgeville High School in 1993. On September 18, 1999 Kevin married Megan McCutchin. He was a past member of the Dodgeville Volunteer Fire Dept. and worked the past 20 years at Madison Gas & Electric as a member of the IBEW #2304.

Kevin was an avid fisherman and loved to camp with his family. Kevin was named the class clown of DHS 1993 and took that role seriously as he carried that honor through his ability to make everyone laugh or pull an outrageous stunt. He was everyone's go to for home repairs and electrical work. Kevin enjoyed watching the Badgers and Packers on fall weekends. One of his greatest prides was being a 4x Weier family Bean Bag Champion.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Megan, their children, Preston Phillips, Molly, Nolen and Owen Weier. His parents Jerry and Nancy Weier and his siblings Chris, Karen (Donny Marten) and Curt (Stephanie). His in-laws Kim McCutchin and Mary Wagner-McCutchin and a brother in-law Jason (Linda) and grandmothers in-law Audrey Wagner and Wanda McCutchin. Kevin is further survived by his nieces and nephews – Makayla and Kylie Weier, Jessica and Joseph Foreman and Sydney McCutchin, and his great nephews William & Glenn.

Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents Ted & Annabelle Weier, Raymond & Lewina Nondorf and Klinton McCutchin.
