Darlington - Keith Lynn Helm, age 72 of Darlington, WI passed away peacefully at home on October 18, 2019.

He was born on May 20, 1947 in Hazel Green to Vincent & Monica (Haase) Helm. He grew up in Darlington and graduated from Darlington High School and proudly called Darlington his home for all his years. After graduating from high school, he worked in Mineral Point in the mines for a short time. He spent a few years at Darlington Dairy supply before going to work at Monroe Truck Equipment where he worked as a welder for 33 years.

Keith was a packer fan and always proudly owned a Ford. He enjoyed bowling, horseshoes, hunting and fishing over the years. He also enjoyed time with his beloved dog, Molly.

Keith is survived by his partner in life, Cheryl Burris, his daughters Lynn (Matt) Severson of Reedsburg, Robin (Kirk) Kiry of Dodgeville, Jaclin (Josh) Staley of Hatfield, Paula Perrin of Platteville, who was like a daughter, a sister Mary Kay (Dick) Leahy of Belmont; seven grandchildren, Alek Severson, Olivia Severson, Isabel Severson, Kam Kiry, Keihin Kiry, Elsie Staley, Audrey Staley.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Monica, his son Jeremy Keith Helm and his brother Vincent Lawrence Helm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Darlington with Rev. Joji Reddy officiating. Burial will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday from 9:30 until 11:15 a.m. at the church.
