Kathryn (Kit) M Knudson died on January 7, 2022 with family by her side. Kit was born on October 22, 1958 to Jim and Ag Knudson. She was the 4th of 5 children.

Kit was a graduate of UW-Whitewater. She was a special education teacher with a passion for teaching children with significant needs. Kit was a beloved aunt and cherished sister.

Kit is survived by her siblings; Joni (Dean) Martin; Joe (Patti) Knudson and their children Mike (Nikki Lowenhagen) Knudson, Patrick Knudson, Karen (Nathan) Stepanek; Bill (Sue) Knudson and their children Carissa (Andy Pettit), Christi, Caiti (Tracy Johnson); and Annie (Tim) Doyle and their children Johanna, Andrea (Charlie Calabria).

Kit was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Ag Knudson and her partner of 17 years, Patricia Browning.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Ss. MARY & PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH in Mineral Point. Fr. Michael Tarigopula and Fr. David Flanagan will concelebrate. Burial will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 21, 2022 at the GORGEN FUNERAL HOME in Mineral Point and from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Saturday at the church. A Rosary Service will be held on Friday evening at 6:45 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Mineral Point Excellence in Education Foundation in Mineral Point or Wisconsin Badger Camp in Platteville in Kit's name.
