Dodgeville – Karen Jo Jenkins, age 75, of Dodgeville, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg.

She was born on July 13, 1947 in Dodgeville, a daughter of the late Clarence "Punk" and Joyce (Allen) Grundy. She graduated from Dodgeville High School. On January 20, 1967, she married Larry Jenkins. They raised their 4 children in Dodgeville.

Karen was a very selfless person, who always put her family's needs before herself. Her greatest pleasures in life were spending time with her family, especially playing with and reading to her grandchildren, her great granddaughter, her nieces and nephews. She was an avid Brewers, Packers and Badgers fan and loved relaxing and working in her garden.

Karen is survived by her children, Dean Jenkins of Dodgeville, Rick Jenkins of Dodgeville, Gina (Ricky) McMannes of Highland and Brian (LeAnn) Jenkins of Dodgeville; her eight grandchildren Aaron, Seth and Raegan Jenkins, Kari (Matt) Menke, Karen and Riley McMannes, and Owen and Meredith Jenkins; her great granddaughter Ava Menke; her brother James Grundy; her brother-in-law Gary King; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Mary (Roger) Kitsemble and Kathy King.

A public visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville. Private family burial will be held in East Side Cemetery.
