Dodgeville – John Ruppert, age 96 of Dodgeville, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Upland Hills Health in Dodgeville.
John was born on October 17, 1924, the son of Frank and Elizabeth (Dalles) Ruppert. He grew up on the family farm and farmed in partnership with his brother Ernest his entire life.
John was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. John enjoyed listening to his polka music.
John is survived by a sister-in-law Delores Ruppert, seven nieces and seven nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Catherine Kopp, Anna Mae Steffes, infant sister Elizabeth, his brother Ernest Ruppert and brothers-in-law Gilbert Steffes, Donovan Kopp and a niece Marjorie Wahl.
Private family Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, January 6 at ST. JOSEPH'S CATHOLIC CHURCH in Dodgeville.
