Dodgeville - John Joseph Kraus, age 60 from Dodgeville, WI passed away on May 30, 2018 after a long battle with cancer.

John is survived by his sisters, Dorine (DuWayne) Wenger, Lynn Sullivan, Joan (Bob) Weber; 25 nephews, nieces, grandnephews, and grandnieces. He was preceded in death by his father Joseph and mother Marguerite.

John worked at the House on the Rock for many years and he loved fishing, hunting and Bingo. John especially enjoyed his yearly Canadian fishing trip. John also had many friends, such as Dean and Denise Whitish, Mike Flora, Curt Edwards and Jeff Ladd who stood by his side during his battle with cancer.

A celebration of John's life will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 from 1 – 5 p.m. at Dino's, 110 Diagonal St. Dodgeville. Wear your favorite Badger, Packer or Yankees apparel and come to tell your best stories about John.
