Verona/Ridgeway – Joey R. Hubbard, age 56, of Verona, formerly of Ridgeway, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 due to health issues.

He was born on February 25, 1960 in Dodgeville, a son of the late Herbert and JoAnn (Gust) Hubbard. He graduated from Dodgeville High School in 1978. He was employed for many years at the Verona School District.

Joey's passion was fishing with his family and close friends. He was an avid Badger and Packer fan.

He is survived by his daughters Amanda Hubbard and Natasha Jo Hubbard; his grandchildren Dyllan, Hunter and Caleb; his brothers, LeRoy (Cindy) Hubbard and Victor Hubbard; many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
