Joanne Carolyn Keyes' Obituary
Mineral Point - Joanne C. Keyes, age 71 , of Mineral Point passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at her home.
She was born on March 9, 1952 the daughter of Burnell and Vivian (Berget) Wang. She married Dale Keyes on October 7, 1972. Joanne was employed by Ruth Fashions while in school, then worked at Point IGA / Point Foods from 1974 until it closed its doors in 2021.
Together and out of love for each other three children were born: Ryan (Giene) Keyes and their children Abby Wicker, Rudy Wicker and Corey Keyes; Jonathan (Erin) Keyes and their children Quinn and Grace; Ashley Keyes and her children Kasen Knight, Logan Gould and Myles Gould; her siblings: Marilyn (Bill) Ottum, Tony (Bobbie) Wang and Delores Wang.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
A Private Family Service will be held at the GORGEN FUNERAL HOME in Mineral Point. Pastor Kate Kiechhafer will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent the Gorgen Funeral Home in Joanne's name.
