Mineral Point - Janice Anne Terrill, age 82, of Mineral Point passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, September 15, 2014 at Upland Hills Health in Dodgeville.

She was born in Mineral Point on November 18, 1931 the daughter of Harold "Red" and Hazel (Speth) Maynard. She married Robert F. Terrill on May 24, 1950 at the Hope Lutheran Church in Mineral Point. She was a faithful member of the Hope Lutheran Church, Royal Neighbors of America, and a member of the Mineral Point Wrestling Hall of Fame. She was a volunteer student mentor at local schools, guided tours at Pendarvis, and was curator at the Mineral Point Room and was an avid reader. She loved her church, loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren following them in all their activities.

Janice is survived by her husband of 64 years Robert; her children, Tim (Ann) Terrill of Waldwick, Ted (Cindy) Terrill of Mineral Point, Terry (Sue) Terrill of Westminster, CO, and Vicky (Roger) Jaeger of Decorah, IA; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; her brother-in-law Dean (Mary) Terrill of Dodgeville; many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends and her special caregiver Marilyn Dunn.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws J. Floyd and Rella Terrill, and her brother Jerry Maynard.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 19, 2014 at 12:00 noon at the HOPE LUTHERAN CHURCH in Mineral Point. Pastor Rich McLeer will officiate. Burial will be held in Graceland Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the GORGEN FUNERAL HOME in Mineral Point and on Friday from 10:30 until 11:45 a.m. at the church.

Memorials are suggested to the Hope Lutheran Church or the Mineral Point Room.
