Hudson, Wisconsin - James LeRoy Noble, age 72, of Hudson, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Christian Community Home in Hudson, surrounded by his loving family.

James was born on October 10, 1944 to John and Gladys (Larson) Noble in Dodgeville, WI. He attended Ridgeway High School and then immediately joined the US Army where he served with 5th Army Headquarters in Chicago receiving accommodations/badges in Sharpshooting, Expert Rifle and Good Conduct. He eloped with his High School Sweetheart Janet Osborn on January 18, 1964 to Benton Harbor MI. The reception was held at McDonald's restaurant where they shared Hamburgers, Fries and Malts. Their first of many romantic dinners! Moving back to Wisconsin, they started raising their family of four children. James enjoyed a long career in the Manufacturing Tool & Die industry, holding Supervisory and Management positions. The past 21 years being with Wilson Tool International. James enjoyed Cooking, Grilling, Woodworking and sharing time with Family & Friends. Lovingly raising his Children and lovingly spoiling his Grandchildren.

James is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jan; his sons, Greg (Claudia) Noble, Dan (Marie) Noble of Hudson; his daughters, Pam (Kelly) Meer of New Richmond WI, Carolyn (Jeff) Menard of Geneva IL; his sister, Glenda Chambers (Jackson); 14 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Gladys Huber (1993), his father John Noble (1994), his step father Alfred Huber (1992) and his brother Jack Noble (2011).

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville, WI. Rev. Jim Hearne will officiate. Burial will be held in the White Church Cemetery in Barneveld, WI with Military Graveside Rites. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the services on Wednesday at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville.
