Dodgeville – Jacqueline M. "Jackie" Brown, age 62, of Dodgeville, died on Friday, January 24, 2025 at Upland Hills Health in Dodgeville.
She was born on June 11, 1962 in Stoughton, a daughter of Norman and Helen (Staley) Brown. She graduated from Oregon High School in 1980 and received an Associate Degree in Clothing & Textiles from MATC.
Jackie worked at Badger Tailor Shop from 1982 – 1992 and Redwood & Ross Men Clothing Store from 1992 – 1994. She then owned and operated Alpine Tailor Shop on Monroe Street in Madison from 1994 – 2020.
Jackie loved listening to music, going to fairs, following Exile and the Oak Ridge Boys, Keith Urban, flower gardening, watching movies and playing online Scrabble.
Jackie is survived by her siblings Norma Botma of Elkhorn, Michael (Susan) Brown of Evansville, Jerry (Laura) Brown of Pulaski, Brian (Mary Lou) Brown of Hill Point, WI and Jeanne Brown of Dodgeville; her brother-in-law Jackie Sachs of Thorp; many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends and especially her dog Harry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Pamela Brown and Karen Sachs, her brother Wallace (Ruth) Brown and her brother-in-law Eaba Botma.
Per Jackie's wishes, no services will be held.
The family would like to thank the Dodgeville EMS and Upland Hills Hospice for the loving care.
