Helen Ruth Murn's Obituary
Dodgeville - Helen Ruth Murn, age 88 of Dodgeville, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Upland Hills Health in Dodgeville.
She was the youngest of five, born on December 25, 1928 to Royal and Edna (Becker) Wappler of Palmyra, Wisconsin. She graduated from Palmyra High School in 1946 and spent most of her life as a homemaker. She loved to read and learn, and instilled that same love in her children. Time spent with family and friends was dear to her. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, quilting, gardening, Slovenian baking, and especially family gatherings. In her later years, she enjoyed researching her family geneology; traceing her heritage back to her Swiss and German roots.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Sherry (Ray) Einerson, Dodgeville; her sons James (Sue), New Hampshire; David (Mary), Dodgeville; and Charles (Jackie), Washington D.C.; a daughter-in-law Marcia, Dodgeville; 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son Scott L. Murn in 2015, her parents and her four siblings.
Memorial service will be planned for a later date.
