Mt. Horeb / Dodgeville - Harvey L. Fargo, age 67, of Mt. Horeb, formerly of Dodgeville, passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at his home.

He was born on May 10, 1945 in Mt. Horeb, a son on Wallace and Doris (Hodgson) Fargo. He attended school at Malone Country School and Mt. Horeb High School. Harvey enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in August of 1965 and spent part of his service in the Philippines and was also stationed at Bunker Hill AFB in Peru, Indiana. Harvey met Patricia Rideout (Marshall) in 1974 and they married on December 24, 1983. She preceded him in death on April 12, 1999.

Harvey is survived by his sister, Mary; his brothers, Stephen, Dennis (Bette Edwards), Danne (Kathy), Richard (Linda) and Michael. He is further survived by Patricia's children, Rhonda and Kevin; many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Wanda, Joyce and Shirley.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville with Military Graveside Rites accorded by the Dodgeville Area Veterans. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
