Dodgeville – Geraldine V. "Geri" Wieczorek, age 74, of Dodgeville, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Upland Hills Health in Dodgeville.

Geri was born on March 6, 1943 in Chicago, IL, a daughter of the late Stanley and Anna Wieczorek. She worked as a caring CNA most of her life throughout the state of Wisconsin. She was an avid reader and loved westerns, word search, all animals and playing Bingo.

Geri is survived by her children Richard (Kourtnei) Howen of Dodgeville, Eugene (Kathy) Howen of Ironwood, MI, Timothy Howen of Waupun, Tammy Howen of Bowler, WI, Michael (Paula) Howen of Ashland; six grandchildren; three step grandchildren; four great grandchildren; her siblings Eugene (Mary) Wieczorek of Lakeland, FL and Patricia Benes of Antioch, IL; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her granddaughter Joslin Howen.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 11, 2017 at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville. Pastor Jim Droste will officiate. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until time of services on Monday at the funeral home. Private Family Interment will be held in Hillside Cemetery in Lancaster.
