Waldwick / Mineral Point - Geneva E. Conners has gone to heaven on December 11, 2018 to be with the two loves of her life, The Lord Jesus Christ and her late husband, George E. Conners on September 5, 2017.
She was born on April 22, 1938 in Alvarado, Texas. She met the love of her life, George, while he was stationed in Texas, serving in the US Army and they were married in 1961.
They had 4 children; son - Randy (Ellen), son - David (Cindy), daughter - Teri (Ralf), daughter - Robben (Doug); seven grandchildren; Chasity (Mike), Brian (Stephanie), Melissa (Pat), Derek (Jennifer), Zachary (Weston), Eryk and Christopher (deceased); 4 special great grandchildren, Kyssah, Carolynn Ruth, Dawsyn and Landon.
Together with her husband, they ran Conners' Upholstery for 33 years in Waldwick. According to her grandchildren she made great chocolate chip cookies, was good at playing checkers, loved going to garage sales, going camping, making muffins and brownies. She was a big Winnie the Pooh and a Dallas Cowboy Fan. Geneva also loved flowers. For over 30 she supplied the flowers for the altar at First Baptist Church in Darlington and Waldwick Community Church.
Funeral Services will be on Friday, December 14 at 2:30 p.m. at the WALDWICK COMMUNITY CHURCH. Pastor David Ritchie and Pastor Russell Paul will officiate. Burial will be held at the Waldwick Cemetery. Friends can call from 1:00 p.m. until time of service on Friday at the church.
