Waldwick - Fredricka "Fritzie" Martie, age 80, of Waldwick, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Monroe Clinic Hospice Home.

Fritzie was born on September 13, 1941 in Monroe, WI the daughter of Frederick "Fritz" and Irene (Schneider) Steuri. She married Mervin Martie on October 7, 1960. Fritzie was a member of the Waldwick Community Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her pets, lunches out with the Waldwick ladies, going to the casino, playing cards and collecting chickens.

She is survived by her children: Heidi (Jeff) Fuchs of Monroe and Scott Martie of Waldwick; her grandson Garrett Fuchs, granddaughter MacKenzie Martie and step-granddaughter Jennifer (Dan) Sills; and her sister Jewell Walton.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. at the WALDWICK COMMUNITY CHURCHin Waldwick. Pastor David Ritchie will officiate. A visitation will be held from 10:45 a.m. until time of service at the church. A luncheon will follow at the church.
